Escape The Fate (is taking over the world)

what do you say the first time you experiance something? something...unknown, something new. it depends largely on how well the experiance went, and what attitude you brought to it. how you think. and...the music i love shapes the way i look into things. the way i handle situations. it's not just the genre of music! it's what you see in the music.

some people...love music for the lyrics. the lyrics mean everything; songs sung like prose. some love the guitar, the chords. some love the feel of the rhythm section; drums, bass, set the beat of their hearts. there are millions of loves.

me? i love to hear the despair in the voice or the scream. i love the emotion within the voice of the song, with the bass amplified. that's what i look for, the taste i love to hear. it can be fast or slow; each band has their own way. my favorite song that uses this is Cellar Door by Escape The Fate. (who is in the picture at the top right)

here's a link to just the song on youtube.com:

they have many others both like that and very different from that (looking for different? listen to their second cd, This War Is Ours they have a new vocalist but they're still brilliant)

Craig Mabitt (the current vocalist) quote: "I'm excited to have the opportunity to continue making music with a group of amazing people, I'm loving what's coming out of us in the studio right now and things couldn't be going better. Escape the Fate is taking over the world, so buckle your seatbelts 'cause we're here to stay."
He's in the picture to the left, middle.
